All members and volunteers who spend time indoors or in a car will continue to wear masks. Members and volunteers must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
Amherst Neighbors' volunteers help residents of Amherst and Pelham over the age of 55 thrive at home by helping with simple every-day tasks, and offering meaningful companionship. Amherst Neighbors also has a virtual component, where members can find monthly writing, gardening groups, book discussion, social justice presentations, and discussions on relevant topics. To become a member for free, fill out and mail in the form on the website. Amherst Neighbors will arrange a Welcome Visit at your home to learn about your individual needs. Please call Amherst Neighbors with questions about services OR to find out more about volunteering.
