This discount is for home phone service, cell phone service, or internet service. Apply online via the listed website, send in a paper application, or contact your current phone/internet provider to apply through them directly. Need a phone? Some Lifeline providers offer a free telephone or mobile phone device. Don't already have phone service? Apply for Lifeline, and then sign up to receive service with a participating phone or internet company. Only one discount is available per household.
