Viability Day Habilitation Programs provide people with disabilities with a structured, goal oriented, active treatment program that aims to raise levels of functioning. Those who participate Viability Day Habilitation Programs have access to a variety of specialized activity units including culinary arts, relaxation, sensory, social, recreation and fitness, arts and crafts, fine and gross motor, and computer skills and technology.
Viability Day Habilitation Programs engage participants socially and empower them to increase their skills, develop friendships, and take supportive steps toward greater independence and overall personal growth. Day Programs help each person expand his or her circle of relationships, increases their natural involvement in their community and expands their vocational and general life skills. People work, volunteer, and pursue hobbies that build skills, personal relationships and self-esteem. Through personal choice, participants experience the dignity of risk and exercise their voice.
