Berkshire North WIC is a Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants and Children. WIC is a nutrition program that provides nutrition and health education, healthy food, breastfeeding education and support and other services free of charge.
WIC's goal is to help keep pregnant and breastfeeding women, infants and children under 5 years old healthy. To do this, WIC provides the following services:

Program Fees: None
Eligibility: Pregnant and postpartum women, and children under age 5. You are automatically income eligible for WIC if you are currently receiving TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth Standard. Foster kids under age 5 are also automatically eligible for WIC. * If there is no automatic qualifier the WIC income guideline is 185 percent of the FPL.
