BHN offers four childcare centers that provide early education, featuring literacy, math, science, art, music, physical activity and planned periods of rest in a nurturing, happy environment. Childcare is offered before school, after school and during all school vacations, including summer. All childcare programs at the Behavioral Health Network are fully accredited and licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care.
BHN works with families with children of all ages with a range of behavioral and developmental needs. Specific treatment or skills-based programming offers parents and caregivers opportunities to gain new skills and tools.
The spectrum of care includes help and support for:
- Infants and toddlers who need help reaching early developmental milestones. Babies receive specialized care in their homes or other natural settings via Early Intervention.
- Pregnant and parenting Springfield teenagers to achieve educational, financial or other goals.
- Mothers of infants struggling with depression who need extra help taking care of themselves during the transitional time with a new baby.
Services to children, youth and families are offered in English and Spanish. Interpreter services can be arranged for other languages.
