It is the mission of the Ware Senior Center/ Council on Aging to identify the total needs of the community’s elder population, to link services to those needs, and to improve the quality of life of our seniors. The Ware Senior Center is your local one stop resource center for:
- Social Services for Seniors
- Van Services
- Volunteer Drivers for out of town Medical trips
- Lunches served M-F at 11:30am for a donation of $2.75
- Computer Courses
- Exercise Equipment
- Lending Library
The Ware Senior Center
also offers health insurance counseling (SHINE), application assistance to many public and social service programs, and many recreational and social activities and events. You can also find food assistance provided by the Food Bank of Western Mass. Brown Bag: Food for Elders Program
which provides a free bag of healthy groceries to eligible seniors once a month at local senior centers and community organizations.
