The Head Start and Early Head Start Home-Visiting Program is for pregnant women and families with children ages 0-5 in Franklin, Hampshire, and Western Hampden Counties. Our experienced home visitors conduct weekly visits to family homes, offering support and many critical resources. Home visitors provide individualized learning experiences for families of young children in the comfort of their own home. This program also offers regularly scheduled socialization events involving educational activities, trainings, meals, and more. These events offer the opportunity to connect with other families in the program. Additionally, pregnant women enrolled in the program partner with our home visitors to learn more about their pregnancy, prenatal care, parenting, and childbirth.
We partner with families in all that we do and believe that parents are the experts on their children. Together, we build a solid foundation for resilient and resourceful caregivers; caring, confident and curious children; and responsive, invested communities.
