      The Appleton Street Clinic in Holyoke, MA offers outpatient individual, group and family therapy for adolescents and adults. Our staff of trained psychotherapists, clinical nurse specialists and psychiatrists is available to help with chronic and acute mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief and loss and other life challenges. We work with each person to help them achieve a happier, more fulfilling life.

      Areas of Specialization: Trauma-informed treatment, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), bilingual psychotherapy, music therapy, dual diagnosis, Primary and Behavioral Health Integration (CHD Health & Wellness), a program that combines medical care with counseling and psychiatric medication management if required.

      The Center for Human Development (CHD) manages Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinics that offer individual, couples, family, and group counseling to help children and adults. CHD's counselors help with issues such as anxiety, depression, parenting concerns, behavioral challenges, alcohol and substance abuse, relationship issues, physical or sexual abuse, GLBT (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender) issues, and other concerns. Medication management is also available in conjunction with counseling.
