Healthy Families is a free family support and parent coaching program for pregnant or first-time parents, age 23 and under, living in Franklin and Hampshire Counties, the North Quabbin region, and the towns of Chester and Ludlow in Hampden County. Home Visitors provide information and guidance starting in pregnancy and continuing through the child's third birthday. The program is designed to help parents learn the skills they need to be successful in their new role and create safe, stimulating environments for their children. Due to COVID-19, Healthy Families staff provide support to participants through in-person outdoor and virtual visits. Referrals can be submitted through the online form available at www.communityaction.us/healthy-families or by calling the listed program numbers.
