ServiceNet offers several specialized support services for individuals with a developmental disability or autism including:
> Behavioral Health Support: Clinical services include case management, peer support, advocacy, and individual or group therapy. ServiceNet Behavioral Health Centers offer treatment for anxiety and depression, communication skills-building, anger management, and other mental health issues.
> Respite Services: For those experiencing a mental health crisis, temporary emergency placement in a facility with 24-hour intensive support and care is provided.
> Outreach Services: Include a variety of services for program participants living independently in the community. ServiceNet can help people structure a daily routine; assists with budgeting and finances, secure housing subsidies, make appointments, arrange transportation, and plan special activities.
> Nursing Support: ServiceNet’s nursing team works with staff in residential and outreach programs to educate program participants about medical conditions and concerns, consult about medical visits and hospital stays, and to coordinate overall plans of care.
> Referral Process: Services are provided under contracts with the Commonwealth’s Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC), and work is conducted in close partnership with these state agencies.
