Agency: Valuing Our Children
Valuing Our Children offers parenting education classes, support groups, playgroups, and family support activities. Transportation and childcare is provided when needed for parents to attend classes and activities.
The goals of Valuing Our Children are:- to help parents in the North Quabbin Region increase nurturing skills and knowledge of child development
- to provide a place for parents to network, trade ideas and give each other support
- to let parents know about places for families in the North Quabbin Region
- to help people in the community understand how important it is to take responsibility for all children
- to develop programs using ideas and suggestions from area people
- to help area agencies work better together
- to offer support for families in times of need
- to provide developmentally appropriate play activities for children
