Child Abuse Counseling

The Children's Clinic is an outpatient program that specializes in providing services for abused and neglected children, children with histories of loss and disrupted attachment, very young children (infants to 6 years), and children who have been exposed to various traumas. Clinicians at the Children’s Clinic serve children in a wide range of ages that include very young children (0-6), latency-aged children (7-12), and adolescents (13-18). Our treatment is informed by a variety of evidence based and effective methodologies.
Clinical specialties include adoption, childhood trauma, divorce, learning disabilities, loss, and parent support/training. Long-term trauma and attachment work includes:- Play therapy
- Psychodynamic therapy
- Neuropsychological assessment
- Art therapy
- Narrative therapy
- Occupational therapy
- Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Family therapy and parent support
