Provides eligible homeowners with deferred payment loans to address code violations in their home and improve living conditions.
The Hilltown CDC Housing Rehabilitation Program provides eligible homeowners with deferred payment loans in order to address code violations and improve living conditions for low-and moderate-income households. A wide range of repairs are eligible including lead paint abatement, septic system repair, roof replacement and more. Program benefits include no interest/no monthly payment on loans that may be completely forgiven, and assistance with project specs, project oversight, and contractor selection.
Program Fees: None up front, deferred payment loans provided for rehabilitation.
Eligibility: Homeowners who are current on mortgage and taxes and have lived in their home at least a year. Income and other guidelines or restrictions may apply. The eligibility of program applicants will be determined on an individual basis.
